The wire rope slings below are made to order in our own factory in Taizhou, China — nylon sheathed and braided composite slings, woven wrapped slings, injection moulded slings, rubber coated assemblies, hot-cast Babbitt riggings and wire rope buckles. Each one can be built in the diameter, core, length, termination and working load limit your job requires, for lifting, lashing, bundling or towing. Open a product to see its specification, or send us your drawing and lifting conditions for a quotation — custom wire rope slings are our standard business, not an exception.

How to choose the right wire rope sling

• Rope construction — 6×19 for greater abrasion resistance, 6×37 and 6×36WS for flexibility and small sheave diameters; fibre core or independent wire rope core (IWRC) depending on the load and the D/d ratio of your sheaves
• Diameter — matched to the working load limit, not to the crane capacity alone
• Termination — ferrule-pressed eyes, hand-spliced eyes with thimble, cast sockets, hooks, shackles or soft eyes
• Length — measured between bearing points of the two eyes, with your tolerance stated on the drawing
• Protection — nylon jacket, rubber coating or a protection sleeve wherever the sling touches sharp edges, threads or finished surfaces
• Environment — galvanised rope for wet, humid or outdoor work; heat and chemical exposure reviewed case by case

Every wire rope sling is built to your specification

Send us the rope construction and diameter, termination type, eye dimensions, length, working load limit, safety factor, marking requirements and the standard you work to. We confirm feasibility, lead time and price, produce a sample if you need one, and manufacture the batch with the same rope, fittings and ferrules throughout.

Documentation on request

Each shipment can be supplied with individual test certificates, permanent WLL tags and the declaration of conformity your site or customs authority requires. Tell us which standard you must comply with — EN 13414-1, ISO 4778, ASME B30.9 or your own internal specification — and we will manufacture and document the slings to it.

Working safely with wire rope slings

• Inspect before every use: broken wires, corrosion, kinks, bird-caging, crushed or distorted rope, cracked or deformed ferrules, and worn thimbles
• Never exceed the marked working load limit, and never shock-load or drag a sling
• Use edge protection or a sling protector over sharp corners, and keep the included angle as small as practical
• Keep slings away from heat, welding spatter, acids and alkalis, and store them clean and dry on a rack, not on the ground
• Withdraw from service immediately if any discard criterion in your inspection standard is met

Why buy wire rope slings from Lift

We are a manufacturer, not a trader: our own workshop, nearly thirty years in the lifting industry, in-house design and production of special slings, and a full range of lifting belts, cargo nets, nylon ropes and rigging hardware under one roof, with export packing built to survive sea freight. Custom designs, OEM marking and repeat orders on identical configurations are all routine.

Request a wire rope sling quotation

Send a drawing, a photo or simply the lifting conditions — load weight, shape, attachment points, rope diameter and length — and our engineers will come back with the recommended construction and an itemised quotation.

Frequently asked questions

What is a wire rope sling used for?
Lifting and hoisting loads onto cranes, hoists and winches; lashing and bundling cargo, pipes, coils and containers; and towing or pulling for recovery, cable laying and marine duty.

Can you make wire rope slings to my own drawing?
Yes. Diameter, rope construction, core, termination, eye size, length, working load limit, coating and marking are all specified by the customer.

What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum for standard constructions — one piece for a sample, batch quantities for production. Mixed sizes can be combined in one order.

How are the slings packed for export?
Coiled and strapped with the WLL tag and certificate attached, then carton or pallet packed as agreed.
